Now, we provide multiple avenues of opportunities for students who are wanting to make a change to their career and lifestyle to get financial assistance for our dental assisting program. Over the past year we have developed a relationship with Phalen University to offer scholarships for those who are considering attending our dental assisting trade school. This is in addition to our already existing financial aid option with Care Credit.

Phalen University Scholarship

Our NEWEST option is the Phalen University student scholarship program. This program helps take adult educational programs to the next level. We work with Phalen University to provide scholarships for adults who are looking to further their education and better themselves. 

PLA University works with individuals within Indianapolis and surrounding areas to provide Adult Educational Programming that will take you to the next level in your career. Care Credit 

Care Credit is another great option if you are needing financial assistance to take our program. There is no interest if paid in full within 6 or 12 months. Once registered for this card, you can pay over time and it gives you a convenient, flexible way to pay for your education.

Their website is extremely user friendly and allows you to see what amount you qualify for. One thing most people don’t know is that you don’t have to finance the whole amount. You can certainly pay some portion out of pocket and finance another. G.I. Bill Benefits

If you or a member of your family has served in the military and has G.I. benefits, you may qualify as well! Contact your representative to see if our trade school is in your benefits package. 

Here are some ways that Dental Office Training by Lynn provides employment opportunities for our students: 

DOT provides several avenues for you to find employment during the course of our program. 

1. Career Fair – During every 3-Month Dental Assisting/Radiology session, we host a career fair. What does this mean? It means that we invite dentists from all surrounding areas who are looking to hire educated, smart, future dental professionals for their office. We typically host 8-12 offices during our career fair.
2. Observation Days – Another really cool aspect of our program is that we schedule each student to observe 3 different dental offices for the day. This includes one general dentist and two specialty dentists of your choosing. There are so many different avenues and pathways that you can go into in dentistry. Most people don’t know that. There is oral surgery, periodontics, pedodontics, endodontics, orthodontics. We discuss all specialty practices during our program so you can make an educated decision about your observation days.
3. Connect the DOTs – We have an exclusive, private facebook page for DOT alumni. This helps us stay connected with each other and we post job openings that are passed along to us.
