The History of DOT:
Dental Office Training by Lynn is an elite dental assistant training program located in Fishers, Indiana. We have been operating for over 17 years and there are over 300 dental offices in the state of Indiana that support our program and help us provide well trained and highly skilled employees into the dental community. With their help, we provide as many opportunities for job shadowing and employment to our students as possible.
We are fully accredited through the state of Indiana and approved by the ISDH for radiology. Radiology is essential in any dental assisting program because upon graduation, dentists will want you to take dental x-rays on patients! Lynn has perfected and condensed all of the critical information to pass the radiology exam the FIRST try. Most dental assisting programs walk you through a powerpoint presentation – not us! We involve you in the discussions of the topics at hand so you are never left wondering.

Dentistry is a constantly evolving and maturing profession. As you can imagine with all of the new AI technology and different imaging systems, dentistry is becoming more and more patient friendly. It is so exciting to hear feedback from our students about what they are seeing in dentistry today! Therefore we host specialty lecturers and demonstrations from individuals throughout the dental community who practice the most modern techniques.

When do we host our 12-Week Dental Assisting/Radiology Programs?
Our programs run in the Spring, Fall, and Winter. We meet 3 days per week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9am – 3pm. These dates and times are perfect if you are working another job or have a family schedule. The homework is minimal because most of our education is hands-on! You would not believe how quickly time flies!
