Have you considered going into the healthcare field? Well dentistry can be just as rewarding – and has many perks! If you like the idea of going into healthcare but prefer better hours, time off, and holiday pay – the dental field is right for you!
Here are some perks stepping into the dental world :
Evenings, weekends and holidays off?
That’s right! Most dental offices typically have a 4 day work week. This means you usually get Mondays or Fridays off. Work-life balance is so important. Dentistry allows you to thrive in your craft and have a personal life outside of work. Most careers don’t offer that.
You can work as much or as little as you want?
Not interested in a four day work week or having a lot of time off? No problem! You can do it all in dentistry – there are tons of offices that are open seven days a week, and others who work five! There is a perfect office fit for everyone. Some dental offices work a half day on Friday or work every other Friday. It just depends on the people. You are sure to find your perfect match eventually – plus there are opportunities to sub and pick up shifts around your area.
